India, no more political donations to Nepal! Please, help your own people.

"External affairs minister Salman Khurshid’s last week’s one-day trip to Nepal was an important one. Besides reiterating New Delhi’s support to the forthcoming election due in November, the two neighbours also held discussions on a range of bilateral issues. India promised to supply 764 vehicles of different types for the elections at a cost of Rs 50 crore. There was also agreement on India supplying arms and equipment valued at Rs 1.1 billion to Nepal Army after an eight year gap. But the visit was overshadowed by the so-called breach of protocol by several former Nepal prime ministers who went to a Kathmandu hotel to interact with him about the political scenario and polls." says the Hindustan Times. I am a Nepali myself and I live with four Indian friends and hang out with even more Indian friends. They are really nice people. A few weeks ago, one of them asked me if Nepalese in general hate Indians. I told him in front of every one, “Yes”. It sparked a fire of discussion between my own Indian friends why Nepal was a part of India or should have been a part of India, or not; and etc. etc. I did not speak a word and just watched them argue. It was interesting to see them argue one after another about the issue of Nepal, instead of worrying about their own people, their own nation. I mean, only some part of India, and some people are rich the rest is poor and need their help. That was some thing that came into my mind, and I jumped in an told them, that we shouldn’t be talking about things like race, nationality, or who gets what, but about how we can live together happily, and make this world a better place for every one. Then, I confirmed them that when I say generally, no, I don’t hate Indians. Some do for a reason, and my Indian friends know exactly why. I also asked them if in general Indians hated Nepalese, and they said, “No”. I was pleased to hear that. Then, everyone settled down and we went to buy some drinks. This is my analysis on the people of India. They are nice people. I know that the government of India is as blood sucking as it can get. The government of India should focus on improving its own country by donating the money to slums and educate the street children walking on the city corners of Calcutta, Delhi, and hungry families living outside the Taj Mahal. Nepal does not need India’s donations, specially during elections and CA. Common Indian Citizens need the money more than our political leaders! Please, help your own people.
